As a Senior Visual Designer, you will immerse yourself in the world of digital-first design, where your creativity and analytical skills will be put to the test. This role requires a deep understanding of client challenges and a commitment to delivering consumer-grade experiences. You will lead design thinking exercises, effectively capturing and processing feedback to transform business requirements into compelling visual designs. Staying current with the latest industry trends and techniques is essential, as is your ability to ask probing questions to uncover the core of the design problem, focusing on the 'Who, what, why' to inform your design approach. Your success in this role hinges on your ability to present and defend your designs, ensuring they align with the strategic goals of the project. You will be expected to have 7-10 years of hands-on design experience, particularly in designing responsive sites, products, and mobile applications, with a preference for candidates who have experience in Management Consulting. A bachelor's degree in art, design, or a related field is required, with an advanced degree being preferred. You will be responsible for designing highly strategic and complex experiences that surpass typical marketing websites. Your track record should demonstrate your ability to translate business requirements into thoughtful design principles and experience frameworks. You will need to incorporate metrics, business intelligence, and use-case scenarios into your designs to create personalized and variable user interfaces. Supporting projects from inception to completion, you will start with low-fidelity wireframes and progress to high-fidelity visual designs and clickable prototypes. Adhering to brand standards and design systems is crucial, and you should be able to pivot quickly to create one when necessary. Your visualization capabilities must be excellent, with a keen attention to detail, bringing concepts to life through storyboards, mood boards, personas, and user journeys. Facilitating usability sessions to validate designs and gather feedback will be part of your responsibilities, as will collaborating in cross-discipline teams and client environments. You should possess deep expertise in industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Invision, Sketch, and Axure. Additionally, you will deliver executive-level design presentations that connect business goals, user needs, and design outcomes for senior leadership and key stakeholders. As a natural leader, you will advocate for good design outcomes and manage junior designers in their research and execution efforts. A stunning portfolio showcasing your ability to bring designs to fruition is essential.
