About the position

The Senior Visual Product Designer at Amazon will lead high-priority visual design projects for Alexa Info experiences, contributing to product vision and collaborating with a diverse team to define user interfaces and design patterns. This role requires a strong focus on delivering elegant design solutions from concept to implementation, utilizing systems-level design thinking to create scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead high priority visual design projects that need to reflect brand strategy and require high craft for Alexa Info experiences
• Contribute to product vision, and collaborate with a team that defines and designs user interfaces, systems, and the interaction, visual, and motion design patterns
• Drive elegant design solutions from early concept through final implementation and iteration
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with other team members across diverse disciplines and geographies
• Use systems-level design thinking to drive design solutions from your team that scale

Requirements

• 5+ years of proven experience in designing well-known consumer digital products in-house or in a design company
• Have an available online portfolio with demonstrated evidence of shipping world-class visual experiences
• Expertise in developing beautiful creative solutions in digital product design for a range of platforms like web, mobile and custom devices
• Excellent skills in creative tools such as Figma, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Expertise in all aspects of the design process, excellent design skills, and consistently deliver high-quality crafted solutions
• Ability to prototype and present beautiful work quickly and inspire those around you through your work
• A bias for action in developing new products from inception to launch

• Experience working with stakeholders to plan and execute programs that are strategic in nature
• Experience in delivering design solutions for projects of large scope and complexity
