About the position

As a Senior Visual Designer at SAP, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing user experience within enterprise software. Additionally, you will help define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring that the final solutions meet user needs and business objectives. You will also be responsible for staying up-to-date on the latest design trends and technologies, proactively presenting and advocating for innovative design solutions that enhance user experience and product usability. As a mentor, you will collaborate with junior designers and cross-functional teams, fostering a strong design culture within the organization. Responsibilities

• Design high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and user interfaces that are functional and aesthetically pleasing.
• Partner with product managers, design leadership, and engineers to translate complex features into user-friendly designs.
• Help define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Work with stakeholders to produce strategy of experience concepts to final solution.
• Champion design best practices and establish new patterns for a design system.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest design trends and technologies.
• Proactively present and advocate for innovative design solutions that improve user experience.
• Mentor and collaborate with junior designers and cross teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in visual design, with a strong focus on UI design.
• Proven experience designing for enterprise software applications.
• In-depth understanding of design principles, including user-centered design, visual hierarchy, and information architecture.
• A keen eye for detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.
• Ability to grasp complexity quickly and focus on key issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present design ideas effectively.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., Figma, Mural, After Effects a plus).
• A passion for innovation and a desire to push the boundaries of design.
