About the position
The Senior Wealth Management Associate at Coldstream Wealth Management serves as a primary point of contact for clients and external advisors, playing a crucial role in managing client relationships and financial planning. This position involves overseeing client onboarding, coordinating workflow, and ensuring effective communication and organization within the team. The role is designed for individuals with a strong background in client service and financial analysis, contributing to the overall success of the wealth management team.
Responsibilities
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, outside advisors, and custodians.
- Manage client meeting agendas, record notes, prepare summary emails, and manage post-meeting action items.
- Analyze financial data and assist in making recommendations for clients.
- Prepare analyses for client families to provide context for financial decisions.
- Coordinate and delegate workflow to the team's Client Service Associates (CSAs).
- Oversee annual tax reporting for clients.
- Manage client onboarding processes.
- Coordinate client 'touch points' to maintain engagement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 3-5+ years of experience as a Client Service Associate (CSA) and/or Associate.
- Excellent communication, relationship building, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Salesforce CRM, MoneyGuidePro, and/or Tamarac is a plus.
- Series 65, FPQP, and/or willingness to obtain the CFP designation within 12 months.
