The Wealth Strategist role at Edward Jones is designed for individuals with a strong background in financial planning and a desire to support financial advisors in delivering tailored financial strategies to clients. Responsibilities

  • Develop goals-based strategies for clients with complex needs using a team approach.
  • Communicate with financial advisors and clients to understand client needs and document goals.
  • Articulate investment and financial planning strategies and recommendations.
  • Identify expertise needed to help clients achieve their goals and build relationships with clients and financial advisors.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for tax planning strategies.
  • Lead firm goals, projects, and initiatives to better serve branch teams and clients.
  • Stay abreast of tax planning concepts, market trends, and changes in financial regulations.

Requirements

  • 9+ years' experience in the Financial Services Industry
  • CPA Required
  • Series 7 and 66 required within 6 months of hire
  • Insurance license required within 6 months of hire
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting or Law required
  • Broad knowledge of branch teams and branch structure.

  • Mastery of financial planning, investment strategies, tax planning, and estate planning.
  • Extensive experience dealing with high net worth clients and addressing their complex financial needs.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities for assessing complex financial situations and developing tailored solutions.
  • Ability to support a financial advisor in evaluating solutions-based strategies for client needs.
