We are a successful fast-growing company based in Louisville, Kentucky, currently undergoing a national expansion. We are seeking an experienced Web Application Developer to play a crucial role in our growth. This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in multiple tech stacks and will be responsible for developing and maintaining various internal and external web applications and APIs, primarily using PHP or similar technologies. In this role, you will build and update web templates utilizing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You will collaborate frequently with multiple departments to implement new features into existing web applications. Your problem-solving skills will be essential as you debug and resolve issues in user-facing software. Additionally, you will write and optimize database queries to meet business requirements using MySQL or similar databases. Managing incoming tickets from users and system alerts will also be part of your daily responsibilities. You will perform peer code reviews for new features and improvements, ensuring high-quality code and functionality. Communication with project stakeholders regarding project scope, requirements, and progress will be a key aspect of your role.
