About the position

The position provides strategic design support for TriWest Healthcare Alliance, focusing on web and multimedia design projects. The role involves project management, collaboration with various departments, and mentoring design staff. The individual will ensure adherence to corporate branding and style guidelines while optimizing user experience across digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with TriWest communications teams and business units to develop project plans and schedules.
• Integrates work of subject matter experts, writers, and designers to produce final products compatible with corporate standards.
• Works closely with other designers to ensure TriWest design and branding standards are met in print and digital deliverables.
• Updates TriWest.com website and TriNet intranet site, maintaining the creative vision.
• Serves as back-up to Manager, Creative Services for urgent change management requests.
• Creates and arranges graphics, images, and other content for a visually stimulating end-user experience.
• Designs TriWest web portals, pages, and graphics, including HTML e-mail templates and landing pages.
• Collaborates with Communications, IT, and other staff to ensure function drives design.
• Enhances user experience and improves effectiveness of web and intranet self-service functions.
• Prepares content using (X)HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and .NET/C# with Microsoft Visual Studio.
• Performs quality checks of TriWest's intranet and external website design, recommending revisions as necessary.
• Assists with web coding and testing new web features and applications.
• Keeps abreast of emerging technologies and solutions for high-quality interfaces.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required for TRICARE contract support.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Computer Science, Fine Arts, or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of experience in web design, graphic design, and front-end development.
• 2 years of experience developing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery preferred).

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with CMS or web development frameworks (EPiServer and Microsoft SharePoint preferred).
• Experience in responsive web design.
• Experience in Section 508 compliance for web design.
• Experience in testing cross-browser, cross-platform, and cross-device compatibility.
• Experience in server-side programming languages (ASP.net, C#).
• Experience in design, layout, and production of print materials.
