About the position

As a Wet Process Engineer at Micron Technology, you will be responsible for starting up, developing, and optimizing processes to enhance product quality and drive improvements in yield, cost, and productivity. This role involves resolving manufacturing line issues, applying methodologies such as failure analysis and SPC, and coordinating evaluations to implement process changes. You will supervise the health of assigned processes, ensuring high-quality output and proactive management of potential bottlenecks.

Responsibilities

• Start up, develop, and optimize processes to improve product quality.
• Drive process yield improvements and cost reduction initiatives.
• Resolve manufacturing line problems using failure analysis and SPC methodologies.
• Coordinate and carry out process, equipment, and material evaluations.
• Lead yield improvement and cost optimization activities.
• Manage new process baseline qualifications and collaborate with material suppliers.
• Supervise the health of assigned processes and ensure high-quality output.
• Provide proactive redundancy plans for bottlenecks affecting Fab cycle time.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Wet Process Development for semiconductor products.
• Strong process area knowledge and DRAM development experience.
• Proven automation skills with experience in coding/machine learning/JMP scripting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with minimal guidance.
• Mature understanding of process flow, SPC principles, and recipe management.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills to coordinate multifunctional teams.
• Ability to communicate effectively to all audiences.
