About the position

The Brand Manager position at TBC Corporation is responsible for developing and executing strategic brand management initiatives aimed at driving business growth and enhancing customer satisfaction. This role involves coordinating product planning and development across Franchise and Wholesale business units, managing brand strategy, and optimizing product, pricing, promotional, and distribution requirements to achieve market share growth. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and vendor management to enhance overall brand performance, making it essential for the candidate to possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of market trends and consumer behavior.

Responsibilities

  • Lead holistic brand building initiatives and align with the 3-5 year strategy and innovation plan.
  • Drive delivery of business objectives for the brand including sales, operating income, inventory, and market share.
  • Lead the development of the brand's annual business plans and track monthly progress towards goals.
  • Identify and lead process improvements at the brand and tier level.
  • Partner with sales and marketing to develop effective communication plans in line with brand and wholesale marketing strategy.
  • Ensure seamless product launches of exclusive, private label, and owned brands.
  • Champion portfolio optimization to maximize profit and meet customer needs.
  • Drive development of channel-specific go-to-market strategies and plans.
  • Leverage consumer, customer, and category insights to inform the 3-5 year strategy and innovation pipeline.
  • Direct brand/product lifecycle management including phase-in/phase-out initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, supply chain, finance or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years in sales, merchandising, marketing or supply chain with proven experience in Category Management or retail merchandising.
  • At least 3 years in a leadership or management capacity.
  • Automotive/Tire industry experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth and optimizing product assortments.
  • Experience with data analytics/visualization tools (Qlik, PowerBI and/or Alteryx) is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of the OE tire market is a plus.
  • Experience using NPD/GFK/Vehicle Fitment data is a plus.
