There are still lots of open positions. Let's find the one that's right for you.
As the Senior Wireless Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing advanced algorithms that facilitate seamless wireless connectivity between terrestrial Bluetooth devices and satellites. This position requires a deep understanding of wireless communication protocols and the ability to design and optimize these protocols to ensure reliable connections across varying conditions both in space and on Earth. Your expertise will be essential in creating robust wireless systems that serve as the backbone of our satellite network. In this role, you will be involved in all aspects of wireless communication system design, which includes modeling, protocol design, performance analysis, and system implementation. You will collaborate closely with a cross-functional team of hardware and software engineers to integrate wireless systems into Hubble's satellite network. This collaboration will ensure that the wireless protocols align with system requirements throughout the design, manufacturing, and deployment phases. Your responsibilities will also include conducting performance analysis of wireless systems to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, proposing optimizations to enhance system reliability, scalability, and data throughput. You will lead the design and modeling of wireless communication systems, evaluating link budgets, channel models, and modulation schemes, and creating detailed simulations to predict performance under various environmental conditions, including those prevalent in space. Additionally, you will help validate FPGA implementations in laboratory and real-world operational environments, developing and executing test plans to ensure systems meet performance and reliability criteria before deployment.
