About the position

The Senior Workday HCM Systems Engineer at SoFi is responsible for providing expert-level support for Workday HCM functionalities, including core HR, compensation, benefits, talent management, and payroll. This role involves optimizing calculated fields and custom reports, ensuring seamless data flow between Workday and other systems, and troubleshooting system issues. The engineer will collaborate with external vendors and monitor system performance to enhance user experience, making recommendations for process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert-level support for Workday HCM functionalities, including core HR, compensation, benefits, talent management & payroll.
  • Create and optimize calculated fields and custom reports within Workday to support business requirements.
  • Leverage expertise in XSLT, Core Connector, APIs, Web Services, and Rest URLs to ensure seamless data flow between Workday and other systems.
  • Stay updated on the latest Workday integration tools and technologies, providing recommendations for process improvements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, working closely with users to identify needs and provide solutions.
  • Collaborate with external vendors, if necessary, to support integration projects.
  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to optimize user experience.
  • Provide ongoing support for Workday integrations, addressing any issues or discrepancies that may arise.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related incidents in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 6+ years experience working in Workday.
  • Proven experience in Workday integration development, including Workday Studio, Prism, EIB, Cloud Connect, and APIs.
  • Extensive knowledge of XSLT, Core Connector, APIs, Web Services, and Rest URLs.
  • Experience developing Workday custom reports and calculated fields.
  • Experience integrating systems with third-party service vendors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience in configuring PECI for LATAM, Canada & Spain.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with ADP integration support is a plus.
  • Experience with WD Extend support is desirable.
  • Workday Integration Certification is preferred.

  • Base pay range: $99,200.00 - $186,000.00
