About the position

The Senior Workday Manager - HR Technology & Innovation at SSM Health is responsible for leading and executing initiatives that transform the HR landscape. This role involves understanding current business processes and system functionalities to identify and implement innovative solutions that enhance HR operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manages all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including hiring, performance management, training and development, compensation recommendations, and separations.
  • Oversees HR technology installations, conversions, and upgrades, developing implementation plans and conducting cost-benefit analyses of automated solutions.
  • Synchronizes projects and their interdependencies, coordinating resource capacity and availability, and facilitating transitions from projects to operations.
  • Collaborates with colleagues to design and translate business needs into innovative technology solutions, maintaining strategic roadmaps for Centers of Excellence (COE's).
  • Identifies project risks and issues, establishes success metrics, and ensures project performance is tracked and measured.
  • Creates metrics and dashboards to monitor workload and team productivity, reporting on Service Level Agreements (SLA's) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).
  • Provides thought leadership on HR technology solutions and strategies for new programs and enhancements to existing solutions.
  • Leads teams to foster a culture of innovation and trust.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five years' experience in HR technology, with two years in a leadership role and two years in Information Technology change management.
