Senior Student Consultants work in partnership with clients and internal teams to ensure maximum value out of a client's Workday investment. The role is responsible for implementing Workday Post Production support initiatives across Workday Student module(s), whether independently, as a team member, or in a leadership capacity. Senior Consultants drive high client satisfaction through building relationships with clients and delivering impeccable customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and configure Workday solutions for a global customer base.
  • Conduct working sessions with clients to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements.
  • Lead, consult, execute, and prioritize conflicting demands on medium to high complexity projects.
  • Frequently discuss and articulate lessons learned from previous client experience and Workday best practices.
  • Manage the project scope, quality, and timeline for area(s) of expertise.
  • Perform research on problems, identify the true cause, and present/implement corrective measures to the client.
  • Contribute to the organization's knowledge management repository through formal and informal avenues.
  • Act as a mentor and coach for less experienced team members.
  • Strive to innovate and suggest new approaches to deploy Workday efficiently and effectively.
  • Gain an intermediate understanding of touch points, dependencies, and integration aspects across different Workday area(s).
  • Meet key performance indicators set for this role.

Requirements

  • 4+ years' experience leading and deploying Workday implementations, supporting Workday Post Production / AMS Services, or as a client of Workday.
  • Deep knowledge of Workday Student Core, Security and Reporting as well as at least one additional Workday module.
  • Ability to lead medium to large projects for the full project lifecycle.
  • Ability to be effectively and actively engaged on multiple, parallel projects of all sizes.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work to ensure overall timeliness and quality standards with no supervision.
  • Demonstrated commitment and achievement to delivery excellence and client satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong consulting skills and a proven ability to influence a wide variety of audiences.
  • Willingness and ability to mentor and/or manage other consultants.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to frequent change.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
  • Ability to meet travel requirements (<5% a year).
