About the position

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior WW Specialist for SAP on AWS, focusing on Finance and Generative AI. This role is pivotal in driving the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for SAP modernization, leveraging AWS's extensive cloud services to enhance SAP solutions. The successful candidate will be a Business Development leader who provides thought leadership and develops assets, solutions, and accelerators that will empower AWS field teams and SAP specialists to engage effectively with various SAP customer personas, including Line of Business owners, CFOs, CDOs, and IT stakeholders. The role requires a deep understanding of Generative AI use cases for SAP ERP, aimed at uncovering insights, accelerating decision-making, automating processes, and improving productivity for SAP customers. The responsibilities include developing and implementing the GTM strategy and sales plays specifically for SAP modernization with Generative AI. The candidate will initiate and drive customer and partner engagements, facilitate AWS field engagement and enablement, and collaborate with service teams to win strategic customer workloads. They will act as subject matter experts (SMEs) within the sales organization for ERP workloads and use cases, identifying the need for new features in AWS services based on customer and field insights. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement GTM strategy and sales plays for SAP modernization with Generative AI.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant GTM, Sales, or Consulting experience.
  • 5+ years of Enterprise Applications experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • 6+ years of experience responding to requests for proposals, including determining requirements and developing solutions against those requirements.
