About The Position
Join the Sensing Systems team at Apple, where you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and launching next-generation Sensing Technologies. This team integrates MEMS, magnetic, and capacitive sensors across a variety of Apple products, including iPhones, iPads, and MacBooks. Your work will bring devices to life, enabling them to interact with users and their environment in innovative ways that have yet to be imagined. We are looking for a dedicated go-getter who possesses a strong understanding of analog systems and has board-level design experience. As a member of the Touch ID team, you will focus on developing sensors that are crucial for the security and convenience of Apple products. Your responsibilities will include schematic capture, module and flex design, leading multi-functional integration discussions, conducting coexistence assessments, and validating module designs and features throughout the supply chain. Familiarity with both analog and digital circuit design, flexible and rigid PCB design, signal integrity, power integrity evaluation, lab validation, and electrical failure analysis is essential. The ideal candidate will have direct experience in taking electrical designs into mass production and will collaborate with multi-functional teams to develop, characterize, validate, and integrate Touch ID sensors into Apple products. Experience with high-volume mass production is a plus.
