About the position

The CFO role over Sensors Unlimited (SUI) at Raytheon involves overseeing all aspects of financial performance, including program controls, financial planning, and analysis. The position requires strong leadership and critical thinking skills to drive business decisions and ensure financial commitments are met. The CFO will collaborate closely with the General Manager to establish strategic plans and manage financial operations effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure adequate financial controls that balance finance goals and program goals.
  • Prepare monthly operating reviews, Estimates at Completion (EACs), and other financial reporting activities.
  • Lead the development of the SUI five-year strategic and annual operating plans.
  • Coordinate the accumulation and presentation of non-financial data.
  • Lead planning and forecasting processes for SUI.
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting support to the General Manager.
  • Review financial reports, presentations, and bids for accuracy.
  • Analyze contract modifications for financial correctness.
  • Provide variance analysis and month/quarter/year-end close reporting.
  • Perform Business Case analysis and Return on Investment (ROI) analysis for new business.
  • Manage overall SUI indirect budget and forward priced rates.
  • Manage several direct reports and guide their performance and career development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years relevant experience in Financial Planning and Analysis or Program Controls.
  • Demonstrated results in meeting or exceeding financial and business commitments.
  • At least 10 years experience using Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • U.S. citizenship is required.

  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Earned Value Management experience.
