As an integral part of our AVE MS&A Horizontal Integration team on the Sentinel program, you will focus on driving operational and technical efforts and initiatives across the MS&A department and broader AVE Systems Engineering & Integration organization. This role will provide enabling support for all business areas within the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) portfolio, which includes the Air Force's sustainment, development, production, and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities, and associated infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Drive operational and technical efforts across the MS&A department.
  • Support the broader AVE Systems Engineering & Integration organization.
  • Provide enabling support for all business areas within the SDS portfolio.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to drive efforts to closure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university with 5 years of relevant experience; 3 years with a Masters; 0 years with a PhD.
  • Previous technical experiences in mechanical/aerospace product development.
  • Self-starter with strong technical problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Systems Engineering principles.
  • Previous experience with MATLAB, Python, C++, or similar.
  • Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or Software).
  • Broad technical experiences in mechanical/aerospace engineering of missiles/launch vehicles.
  • Experience in systems engineering principles including requirements development, decomposition and allocation, MBSE (CAMEO or similar).
  • Experience with Modeling & Simulation (M&S) verification and validation (MIL-STD 3022).
  • Experience with physical testing, instrumentation, Design of Experiments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
