About the position

The SEO/SEM Specialist at R+L Carriers is responsible for implementing and managing search engine optimization and marketing strategies to enhance online visibility and drive traffic to the company's website. This role involves optimizing website content, managing PPC campaigns, and utilizing analytics tools to track performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvement. The specialist will also create monthly reports to demonstrate the effectiveness of SEO/SEM efforts and ensure alignment with client objectives.

Responsibilities

• Implement SEO/SEM strategies including writing meta data and optimizing website copy.
• Set up and sync Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Adwords, and Webmaster Tools.
• Monitor progress based on KPIs and make recommendations for improvement.
• Create monthly client reports demonstrating performance on key SEO/SEM objectives.
• Manage and optimize PPC campaigns, including Google Ads, to maximize ROI.
• Conduct keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, and ongoing optimization of PPC campaigns.
• Implement Local SEO strategies to improve visibility in local search results.

Requirements

• Demonstrated understanding of the Google search algorithm.
• Experience with Search Engine Optimization for Google and Bing.
• Experience using white hat SEO techniques to improve website placement in SERPs.
• Successful management of Google Adwords campaigns with proven ROI.
• Experience with local SEO optimization.
• Expertise working with GTM Data Layer.
• Experience setting up, tracking, and reporting on website conversion goals through Google Analytics and Adwords.
• Excellent customer service skills and team-oriented mindset.
• Strong communication skills and ability to stay current with SEO/SEM trends.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
