About the position

The SEO Analyst at GIE Media, Inc. is responsible for developing and executing SEO strategies to enhance website traffic, keyword rankings, and overall online visibility for the company's various web properties. This role involves utilizing analytics to identify optimization opportunities, conducting keyword research, collaborating with content creators, and leading on-page optimization efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SEO and a proven track record of success in similar roles.

Responsibilities

• Use website analytics to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement of web metrics.
• Drive higher traffic to websites and attract new qualified users through proven SEO strategies and web content visibility.
• Conduct in-depth keyword research and analysis to identify high-priority keywords and topics relevant to our target audiences.
• Collaborate with content creators and outline 'next steps' for the implementation of optimization and traffic improvement techniques.
• Lead on-page optimization efforts including ongoing training for content creators.
• Execute ad-hoc web analytics reporting requests to parties throughout the organization.
• Troubleshoot technical website issues and perform regular error reports.
• Monitor Google algorithm changes.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience managing SEO strategies for businesses or clients.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, web development, mass communication or equivalent experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Looker Studio and third-party SEO software.
• Advanced knowledge of Google Ads a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of social media websites.
• General knowledge of networking and computer technologies.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrate initiative with little or no supervision.
