About the position

The SEO and Content Specialist at Modern Automotive Network LLC is a pivotal role focused on spearheading the SEO and editorial content strategy. This position is integral to the company's digital marketing efforts, responsible for optimizing technical, on-site, and local SEO, while driving the planning and creation of editorial content. The specialist will ensure high performance of all company websites and Google Business pages, enhancing the brand's online presence and aligning content with SEO best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive SEO strategy to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic to various websites.
• Oversee technical SEO enhancements and on-site optimization to ensure websites are search engine friendly and user-friendly.
• Collaborate with the team to develop a content roadmap and calendar that aligns with SEO best practices and engages the target audience.
• Conduct in-depth keyword research to inform content creation and optimization efforts.
• Utilize tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console to analyze website performance, track KPIs, and provide insights to stakeholders.
• Work closely with the marketing team and store leads to align on direction and priorities.
• Stay informed about industry trends, search engine algorithm changes, and emerging SEO tools to continuously improve the SEO strategy.
• Collaborate with external partners and agencies to enhance SEO and content capabilities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience specifically in the SEO field.
• Working knowledge of Google Search Console and GA4.
• Familiarity with SEO tools such as SEMRush, Ahrefs, Moz, Whitespark, or Zapier.
• Solid understanding of meta tags, titles, and other technical SEO elements.
• Familiarity with AI LLM technology is a plus.
• Familiarity with WordPress is a plus.
• Automotive industry experience is a plus.
• College degree preferred, with an emphasis on marketing or digital technology being an added advantage.
