About the position

CPI Security is seeking a Manager of SEO & Digital Content Strategy to enhance their ecommerce team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role focuses on developing and executing SEO strategies and content that drive traffic to the company's website, while collaborating with various departments to optimize processes and content flow. The position requires a blend of SEO expertise, copywriting skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively, all aimed at supporting the company's mission to protect customers.

Responsibilities

• Participate and contribute to web optimization projects with multiple departments and stakeholders to achieve objectives.
• Assist in defining and aligning company on SEO strategy across Marketing, Merchandising, Technology and Site Operations.
• Develop and communicate detailed Technical SEO business requirements.
• Work with SEO-related tools (The Google Suite, VWO and Semrush) to monitor SEO issues and performance.
• Deliver search engine optimized strategy and content to drive traffic to CPI Security's website.
• Collaborate with SEO vendor(s) to develop and execute content in a timely manner.
• Research SEO best practices tied to new site releases, ensuring technical SEO considerations are delivered.
• Create a focused backlinking strategy and execution plan to obtain high quality backlinks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of professional analyst and SEO strategy experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of graphic design, webpage construction and web usability best practices.
