About the position

The SEO and Social Media Specialist will be responsible for enhancing the online presence of Landscape Workshop through effective SEO strategies and social media management. This role focuses on optimizing landing pages, creating engaging content, and leveraging analytics to drive organic visibility and performance across various digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Continuously optimize and enhance existing landing pages for improved performance.
• Create new landing pages and content to better optimize organic search footprint.
• Create and produce content for monthly blogs that target and support keywords.
• Create and produce custom ad landing pages that align with market specific SEO efforts.
• Optimize Google My Business Pages in each Market.
• Link building using industry-standard methods.
• Audit LW website to grow SEO performance.
• Use Analytics to identify trends, areas of opportunity, or issues.
• Provide insights and next steps on Analytics reports monthly.
• Create and produce social media content that will enhance our digital efforts.
• Execute a distinct strategy for each social media platform.
• Increase organic visibility across all social platforms.
• Keep all social profiles up to date with current information and imagery.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and social media algorithm changes.

Requirements

• Must have a foundational understanding of SEO, while staying updated on industry trends and developments.
• Familiarity with HTML elements related to SEO.
• Demonstrable or certified Google Analytics experience.
• Demonstrable or certified Google Business experience.
• Familiarity with industry-standard tools like SEMRush.
• Strong organization skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to identify and execute next steps.
• Accountability and ownership of their work.
• Desire for ongoing education.
