About the position

The SEO Content Specialist at Experian is responsible for optimizing SEO content, auditing existing materials, and collaborating with content contributors to enhance SEO performance. This role focuses on content marketing with a performance-driven approach, leveraging contemporary SEO principles and tools to improve visibility and engagement across various platforms.

Responsibilities

• Optimize SEO content with recommendations and briefs where required
• Audit existing SEO content
• Collaborate with content contributors and offer SEO guidance
• Engage in content marketing with performance in mind
• Identify and execute opportunities to improve SEO performance

Requirements

• Knowledge of contemporary SEO principles and methodology
• Knowledge of SEO tools, such as SEMRush, Moz, Ahrefs, DeepCrawl
• Excellent written skills, ability to organize and present information on screen and verbally with a team
• Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience in search engine optimization including ecommerce sites

Nice-to-haves

• Working experience with WordPress
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as it relates to SEO
• Understanding of mobile search, app store optimization, and video search
• Understanding of social platforms
• Financial industry knowledge
