About the position

As a digital content writer at Abstrakt Marketing Group, you will play a crucial role in driving client growth through the creation of professional, SEO-rich content. This position involves writing B2B content for various platforms, including web pages, blogs, and social media, while collaborating closely with the SEO content team lead and other team members. The primary goal is to produce engaging content that effectively communicates complex industry information and generates leads for clients.

Responsibilities

• Write monthly B2B content for client web pages, social media, and blogs.
• Meet specified word counts while following The Abstrakt Style Guide and applying SEO best practices.
• Upload client content to WordPress and Sendible each month.
• Communicate closely with the copywriting team lead, account managers, and designers to adhere to project timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
• Conduct research to find new information and maintain a clear and consistent brand voice for clients.
• Consult with clients on monthly calls to gather relevant information and discuss content strategy.
• Create original concepts while communicating with clients to meet expectations.
• Use Google Docs and CRM tools to manage daily assignments and track client content.
• Revise content based on client and internal feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, English, marketing, or a related field from a four-year college or university.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
• Excellent writing skills with a focus on creativity and audience engagement.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of client communication and industry trends.
• Demonstrate emotional intelligence and exhibit a professional demeanor.
• 1+ year of agency, writing, or marketing experience, including writing for the web.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with web mark-up language, search engine optimization, and/or content strategy.
• Experience with using Salesforce, SEMrush, WordPress, and/or Sendible.
