About the position

As a Digital Marketing Associate focusing on SEO at KME.digital, you will develop and maintain digital marketing strategies across various channels for multiple company accounts. This role involves identifying, creating, scaling, and reporting on cost-effective lead-generating strategies for clients. You will manage advertising campaigns, facilitate the production of creative assets, and utilize analytics to inform decisions while managing significant marketing budgets to achieve company goals.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the point of contact for multiple clients, setting expectations and educating them to meet their digital marketing goals.
  • Measure and analyze performance, identifying new opportunities based on customer and business data.
  • Assist in backlink strategy development to raise a customer's Domain Authority.
  • Implement and test new creative messaging, landing pages, campaigns, and tools to improve organic performance.
  • Create and present monthly online performance dashboards for clients using Google Analytics metrics.
  • Optimize website content with on-page SEO best practices relative to the customer's service offerings.
  • Conduct competitor analysis including keywords and backlinks to ensure customer success.
  • Complete website audits and continuous marketing assessments for professional services clients, including keyword optimization implementation.
  • Assess website usability and findability, performing conversion rate analysis and providing recommendations.
  • Identify technical site errors and potential warnings.
  • Write website content with optimizations in mind.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of SEO experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, PR, Communications, Information Science, Business or related major
  • Strong understanding of online marketing channels such as text and display advertising, search engine marketing, social media marketing, and native advertising.
  • Passion for metrics and quantitative analysis to turn analysis into actionable strategies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and great collaboration.
  • Ability to understand client objectives and build effective strategies to meet client needs.
  • Ability to bridge data analysis, research, competitive intelligence, and marketing savvy to build efficient customer acquisition programs.
  • Highly driven with a customer-centric attitude and ability to work entrepreneurially on a small team.
  • Genuine interest in staying updated on the latest marketing trends and changes.
  • Comfortable speaking to clients and presenting marketing strategies and analytics clearly.
  • Strong writing and presentation skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Ads, and various SEO tools (Moz, Ahrefs, ScreamingFrog, SEMRush, BuzzSumo).
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (Hubspot, Marketo, Pardot, SharpSpring).
  • Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce, Hubspot, Pipedrive).
  • Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, ExpressionEngine, Joomla, Drupal).
  • Familiarity with major social networks (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube).
