The SEO Manager will be a key member of the SEO & Content Marketing Team, leading our technical search engine optimization strategy and staying up to date on the latest algorithm requirements and best practices for organic search. As a key bridge between the Digital Marketing and Ecommerce Teams, you'll regularly collaborate with content specialists, ecommerce product owners, and web developers to continue enhancing website performance and driving organic traffic. You'll also be responsible for consistently monitoring our organic search performance, researching and identifying technical optimizations and on-page/off-page SEO opportunities, and providing recommendations to improve performance and meet Parts Town's SEO and digital goals. A typical day will involve conducting routine crawls and audits to identify technical issues or on-page gaps. You will collaborate with the SEO analyst, content specialists, product owners, and developers to implement critical changes or run tests. Regular interaction with product owners and developers will be necessary to optimize the site's structure, increase crawl budget, improve page speed, leverage caching, enhance XML sitemaps, and resolve issues that might affect search engine bots from accessing and understanding the content. Additionally, you will conduct research and analysis of competitor websites as well as other ecommerce and content sites to identify keyword, content, and user experience gaps on Parts Town properties. You will also collaborate with the SEO Content team on content-related and on-page optimization projects, ensuring the scope of effectiveness and establishing or confirming SEO best practices. Regular tracking of SEO data and organic search metrics (e.g., page performance, keyword rankings) will be essential, as well as analyzing site trends and fluctuations and monitoring website and page speeds. You will effectively report and communicate core SEO metrics and KPIs across teams and business stakeholders, adhering to agile principles and being involved in routine sprint plannings, reviews, scrums, and releases.
