About the position

Lamps Plus, Inc is seeking an experienced SEO Manager/Specialist to lead optimization efforts in the organic channel space. The primary focus of this role is to drive organic traffic growth and conversions to the company's website, enhance foot traffic to brick-and-mortar locations, and improve call volume and share-of-voice through effective SEO strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor site analytics reports.
• Continuously monitor and analyze website traffic, track rankings and other natural-traffic KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
• Draft specifications for SEO-related requirements.
• Manage brick and mortar store listings.
• Monitor site for issues affecting natural traffic visibility.
• Manage domain and domain certificates for the company.

Requirements

• 3-5 years in Search Engine Optimization management role(s).
• E-commerce/retail optimization experience.
• Knowledge of Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4 a plus), and SEO tools such as BrightEdge, Ahrefs, and crawl analysis tools like ScreamingFrog, Deep Crawl, or Botify.
• Proficient at strategic keyword research and discovering new opportunities to drive traffic.
• Familiarity with the latest search industry trends and algorithm changes.
• Working knowledge of Google Ads is a plus.
• Understand how site architecture affects SEO and assist development projects accordingly.
• Understand the components of Core Web Vitals and how to improve them.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Schema Markup, and Metadata.
• Ability to complete competitive analysis of other companies within the industry.
• Understand schema.org and how it impacts SEO.
• Capable of working efficiently with content management systems and content and design teams.
• Be able to update store location information as needed.

Nice-to-haves

• Working knowledge of listing tools such as Yext is helpful.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a broad spectrum of colleagues, from UI designers to senior management.
