About the position

The SEO Manager at Optimum7 will lead SEO initiatives with a strategic focus on driving business growth. This role involves crafting and refining SEO/SEM strategies, expanding marketing capabilities, and enhancing client revenue potential. The SEO Manager will collaborate with business and sales teams, manage departmental resources, and lead a team to deliver exceptional SEO performance aligned with the company's ambitious goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies that drive exceptional results and exceed client expectations.
  • Lead and grow the marketing department, identifying revenue opportunities within existing client accounts and securing new business for sustained growth.
  • Collaborate with business and sales teams to create effective marketing and branding strategies that enhance client engagement and satisfaction.
  • Oversee the development and management of an annual marketing budget, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Utilize key performance metrics and tracking tools to conduct market research, analyze competitive landscapes, and forecast trends, turning insights into actionable strategies.
  • Direct the daily operations of the SEO and marketing teams, setting clear goals, providing leadership, and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Optimize organic search strategies to maximize ROI for clients, enhancing their satisfaction and long-term engagement.
  • Define the vision and strategic plan for the marketing department, driving growth through gross renewals and improved net retention.
  • Support the sales process with technical assessments, ensuring our solutions align with client needs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce churn, drive new business, and enhance client advocacy and references.
  • Provide transformational leadership that aligns team efforts with Optimum7's mission and vision, inspiring excellence and continuous growth.

Requirements

  • 4-5 years of experience in eCommerce SEO, including leadership roles in account management, marketing, or sales.
  • At least 3 years in a marketing-related role focused on eCommerce SEO, such as a Marketing Account Manager, Digital Marketing Manager, or SEO/SEM Specialist.
  • Experience working in a marketing or development agency is essential.
  • Proven ability to develop strategic initiatives, translate them into actionable plans, and oversee successful implementation.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing global and distributed teams, fostering collaboration across diverse cultures and geographies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for inspiring and motivating teams to achieve high performance.
  • Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to develop processes, solve problems, and plan effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Agile, flexible, and comfortable managing evolving business priorities and ambiguities.
