About the position

The SEO Manager at Wray Ward is responsible for activating and implementing SEO projects, managing ongoing programs, and executing strategies to achieve business objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of organic search and collaboration with various teams to support client goals. The SEO Manager will oversee organic search activations, optimize content, and analyze performance data to guide strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute and optimize organic search strategies to drive business objectives and maximize ROI.
• Uncover and recommend new content creation opportunities through keyword research and competitive analyses.
• Provide optimization recommendations for new and existing content assets.
• Manage and measure programs using major search platforms and tools.
• Analyze and report on program performance data to improve future work.
• Provide SEO support for website builds and digital projects, including keyword research and metadata writing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align organic search strategies with marketing objectives.
• Conduct continuous testing and data-driven optimization.
• Oversee and manage organic search budgets.
• Stay updated on SEO trends, tools, and best practices.
• Mentor junior team members in organic search efforts.
• Educate and promote SEO as a valuable channel internally and to clients.

Requirements

• 4-5 years' experience managing organic search programs.
• Advanced knowledge of SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Looker Studio, Moz, Semrush, Screaming Frog.
• Strong strategic and analytical skills with proficiency in major search platforms and tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects while prioritizing work.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree.
