About the position

The SEO Manager at Redstone Residential is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing all aspects of search engine optimization (SEO) within the organization. This position requires a strategic thinker who can manage relationships with clients and vendors while exemplifying the core operating principles of Redstone. The SEO Manager will be part of the corporate leadership team, contributing to the overall marketing strategy and ensuring that SEO efforts align with the company's goals. In this role, the SEO Manager will manage the tracking and reporting of search-related activities, providing detailed analyses to the marketing director. This includes optimizing digital assets such as text, graphics, and multimedia for SEO and usability on various internet-connected devices. The manager will collect and analyze web metrics, including visits, time on site, page views, transaction volume, click-through rates, and conversion rates, to meet necessary Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and report on key metrics from digital campaigns. The SEO Manager will also be responsible for creating content strategies for digital media, collaborating with other marketing staff to integrate marketing strategies across multiple sales channels. Continuous improvement of search-related activities will be achieved through ongoing analysis, experimentation, and optimization tests, including A/B or multivariate methods. Conducting market research analysis to identify search query trends and competitor performance will be essential for staying ahead in the digital landscape. Additionally, the SEO Manager will communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders, including merchants, Webmasters, and online editors, to strategically place hyperlinks and enhance the company's online presence. This role will also involve coordinating promotional strategies with merchandising and operations staff to ensure product catalogs are current and organized for optimal findability against user intent. Financial modeling for online marketing programs and implementing online customer service processes to ensure positive user experiences are also key responsibilities of this position.

Responsibilities

  • Manage tracking and reporting of search-related activities and provide analyses to the marketing director.
  • Optimize digital assets, such as text, graphics, or multimedia assets, for search engine optimization (SEO) or for display and usability on internet-connected devices.
  • Collect and analyze Web metrics, such as visits, time on site, page views per visit, transaction volume and revenue, click-through rates, conversion rates, or cost per acquisition.
  • Meet necessary Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and report key metrics from digital campaigns.
  • Create content strategies for digital media.
  • Collaborate with other marketing staff to integrate and complement marketing strategies across multiple sales channels.
  • Improve search-related activities through ongoing analysis, experimentation, or optimization tests, using A/B or multivariate methods.
  • Conduct market research analysis to identify search query trends, real-time search and news media activity, popular social media topics, electronic commerce trends, market opportunities, or competitor performance.
  • Communicate and collaborate with merchants, Webmasters, bloggers, or online editors to strategically place hyperlinks.
  • Collaborate with Web, multimedia, or art design staffs to create multimedia Web sites or other internet content that conforms to brand and company visual format.
  • Purchase or negotiate placement of listings in local search engines, directories, or digital mapping technologies.
  • Coordinate sales or other promotional strategies with merchandising, operations, or inventory control staff to ensure product catalogs are current, accurate, and organized for best findability against user intent.
  • Conduct financial modeling for online marketing programs or Web site revenue forecasting.
  • Implement online customer service processes to ensure positive and consistent user experiences.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of digital marketing and SEO campaign management is required.
  • 1+ years of management or leadership experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing preferred.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing SEO strategies and projects.
  • Experience managing processes for providing customer and personal services, including customer needs assessment and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Experience with media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods.
  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of marketing plans, mock-ups, drawings, and models.
  • Identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system.
