About the position

The SEO Manager will be responsible for driving and optimizing the online presence of CERTUS Pest Control's brands. This role focuses on developing and executing comprehensive SEO strategies, including technical SEO, content optimization, link building, local SEO, and conversion rate optimization (CRO) to enhance traffic and conversions across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute SEO strategies for various pest control brands, focusing on both on-page and off-page tactics to increase visibility and rankings.
• Perform technical SEO audits and implement best practices to address site speed, mobile responsiveness, indexing issues, and schema markup.
• Optimize new and existing content to ensure it is SEO-friendly and keyword-rich, enhancing engagement and search performance.
• Manage local SEO efforts by optimizing Google Business Profiles and managing citations for targeted areas.
• Develop and execute link building strategies to increase domain authority through both organic outreach and paid placements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align SEO initiatives with overall marketing and growth goals.
• Analyze user behavior to optimize website elements and improve conversion rates across all brands.
• Manage multiple SEO projects, track progress, report results, and adjust strategies for optimal outcomes.

Requirements

• 2+ years of SEO management experience, preferably with multi-brand or multi-site exposure.
• In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, including on-page, off-page, local, and technical SEO.
• Proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, WordPress, CallRail, and Invoca.
• Experience in content optimization, working with writers to enhance articles and landing pages for search intent and performance.
• Hands-on experience with schema markup and structured data implementation.
• Ability to build both organic and paid links to enhance site authority and visibility.
• Knowledge of conversion rate optimization principles and practices.
• Strong project management skills to oversee SEO projects and report on performance metrics.
• Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
