About the position

The SEO Manager at U.S. Bank will lead the development and execution of the SEO strategy aimed at driving organic traffic growth and improving search engine rankings. This role requires a strategic mindset, collaboration across teams, and a deep understanding of SEO trends and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies that align with business goals.
  • Oversee keyword research and optimization efforts to ensure high-ranking positions in search engines.
  • Collaborate with the development and content teams to integrate SEO best practices into page updates and new content releases.
  • Analyze SEO performance metrics and adjust strategies as necessary to improve rankings and drive traffic.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes to ensure strategies are current and effective.
  • Help evangelize SEO across the organization and develop best practices working alongside our partners.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to SEO team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Eight or more years of experience in marketing or related field

Nice-to-haves

  • 8+ years of experience in SEO with a proven track record of success in driving organic traffic growth.
  • Deep understanding of SEO tools such as Core Web Vitals, SEMrush, BrightEdge, and how they impact SEO.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally and alongside business teams, content, design, and development teams.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and technical SEO.
