About the position

Chewy is seeking a Group Product SEO Manager to lead the Organic Search strategy for one of its largest and fastest-growing categories in the e-Commerce business. This role involves collaboration with various teams, including Product Management, Content, Data Science, and Software Engineering, to enhance site transparency in search engines and improve SEO performance. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in SEO, a strong understanding of content and eCommerce SEO, and the ability to analyze data to develop strategic plans that align with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Identify the total Organic Search traffic and revenue opportunity.
• Build a strategy and set goals to assemble that opportunity in partnership with teams across Category Management, Site Experience, Product Management, Data Science, and Engineering.
• Communicate your strategy, goals, and progress to goals in a written format to senior leaders and internal collaborators.
• Conduct in-depth analyses of search engine data from first-party and third-party data sources and partner with software engineers to build new internal tools to procure data when it's not available from an existing source.
• Conduct experiments to test hypotheses developed through data analysis; analyze and share experiment results.
• Provide mentorship to Category Managers, Site Merchandisers, vendor partners, and Product Managers to build SEO requirements into their workflows and processes.
• Exhibit a strong sense of ownership, bias for action, and outstanding communication skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Finance, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in SEO preferred with other experience in Product Management, Finance, Category Management, Consulting, or Business Intelligence.
