About the position

Our client, a leading e-commerce company, is currently seeking a Technical SEO Product Manager to lead the development and execution of advanced SEO strategies. This role is ideal for someone with strong expertise in technical SEO and product management who is eager to shape the success of SEO initiatives by collaborating with engineers, designers, and content teams. The successful candidate will deeply understand search engine algorithms and industry best practices to ensure products meet user needs and drive impactful results. In this position, you will drive the creation and execution of technical SEO projects that align with business objectives and strategic goals. You will apply your deep knowledge of technical SEO to enhance product offerings, integrating best practices to improve search engine visibility and performance. Working closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams, you will establish product requirements, prioritize key features, and ensure successful product delivery. You will utilize SEO performance data from tools like Google Search Console, SEMRush, and Lumar to identify opportunities for improvement and guide product decisions. Gathering customer feedback and conducting market research will be essential to shape product enhancements that meet user expectations and needs. Staying current with industry trends, competitor activities, and new technologies will help you maintain a cutting-edge SEO approach. Additionally, you will oversee the launch of SEO-related features and products, monitor their performance, and optimize based on feedback and data insights. Maintaining detailed documentation of product features, user guides, and release notes while effectively communicating changes and updates to stakeholders will also be part of your responsibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in technical SEO, product management, or a related role, with demonstrated success in managing SEO projects from start to finish.
• Extensive knowledge of SEO principles, search engine algorithms, web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and SEO tools such as Google Search Console, SEMRush, Screaming Frog, and BigQuery.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adjust to evolving priorities.
• Excellent ability to analyze data, spot trends, and make decisions based on data insights.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges and developing innovative solutions.
