About the position

The SEO Manager at Apple is responsible for shaping the organic search strategy for Apple products and services across various digital platforms. This role involves managing complex SEO projects, conducting keyword research, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all digital efforts. The position aims to enhance the customer experience by optimizing Apple's online presence and ensuring minimal impact on organic search performance during major website changes.

Responsibilities

  • Shape the organic search strategy for Apple products and services across digital platforms.
  • Support a major website re-platforming project to minimize impact on organic search performance.
  • Manage the organic search feature backlog and oversee SEO technical projects from ideation to production.
  • Conduct thorough keyword research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with content, marketing, product, and engineering teams to integrate SEO requirements into digital efforts.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance and search trends to optimize campaign performance.
  • Develop a shared set of processes for cross-functional operational standards for future platforms.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key partners to advocate for SEO initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience with SEO for a global brand or digital agency.
  • Solid experience managing complex and time-critical technical projects.
  • Experience with in-depth keyword and topic research.
  • In-depth knowledge of the latest SEO standard methodologies across major search engines.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Search Console, seoClarity, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.

Nice-to-haves

  • 10+ years of experience with SEO preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree or related experience in technology and/or e-commerce industry.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages.
