About the position
The SEO Specialist will play a crucial role in enhancing the online presence of select institutions through effective SEO strategies and content management. This temporary position requires collaboration with both internal teams and external agencies to optimize web content and improve search engine rankings. The specialist will be responsible for creating optimization briefs, managing blog content, conducting audits, and analyzing performance data.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure SEO optimization.
- Develop strategy with agency to improve SEO for select institutions.
- Create and manage core page optimization briefs.
- Manage blog content creation, providing topics, keywords, and establishing a content calendar.
- Conduct quick audit reviews of web pages to ensure updates per SEO recommendations.
- Perform bimonthly reviews of Bright Edge, checking for errors and providing recommendations to the web team.
Requirements
- 3 - 5+ years of experience in SEO strategy and content management.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Prior experience with SEO platforms such as Bright Edge, Moz, and Semrush.
