About the position

Broadway Smoke Shop in Denver, CO is seeking an SEO Specialist to enhance our online visibility and drive organic traffic to our business website. The SEO Specialist will be responsible for a variety of tasks including competitive analysis, web optimization, keyword research, on-page SEO, and the development of organic growth strategies. This role is instrumental in improving our search engine rankings and overall website performance. The SEO Specialist will also contribute to our digital marketing efforts, which encompass email marketing, content creation, and graphic design. The position requires a focus on creating compelling content and visuals while adhering to SEO best practices. This will be crucial in enhancing our online presence and supporting our marketing campaigns. The SEO Specialist will conduct in-depth competitive analysis within our industry, researching and analyzing competitors' SEO strategies to identify strengths and weaknesses. Additionally, the role involves performing comprehensive web SEO audits to pinpoint areas needing improvement and working closely with the development team to implement necessary optimizations. Key responsibilities include conducting keyword research to discover high-potential keywords, optimizing website content, meta tags, and headers for search engines, and developing strategies aimed at increasing organic traffic and user engagement. The SEO Specialist will also manage Google Search Console to track website performance, address technical SEO issues, and craft compelling email and web copy that aligns with our SEO goals. Furthermore, the role includes creating engaging email marketing campaigns and producing SEO-friendly blog content, as well as graphic design work for digital marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Design banners and pamphlets for digital and print marketing campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Business Administration or closely related field, including foreign academic equivalent.
  • 3 years of experience in On-Page SEO, Technical SEO, Blog writing, Web Copywriting, Email Copywriting, Content Strategy, Website SEO Audit, and Keyword Research.
  • Demonstrated proficiency or certification with Klaviyo, AHREF or SEMRUSH, Google Search Console, Wordpress or Shopify, Google Analytics, and Canva.
