About the position

The SEO Specialist will lead the development, execution, and optimization of SEO strategies across multiple brands, focusing on increasing organic visibility, driving traffic, and improving search rankings for both B2C and B2B audiences. This role involves collaboration with internal teams to implement content and technical SEO best practices, ultimately supporting the company's growth and lead generation goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.
  • Conduct detailed keyword research to identify target keywords and search queries for content creation.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Content Strategist and Content Writers to optimize new and existing content for SEO.
  • Implement on-page SEO improvements, including keyword optimization, meta tags, internal linking, and URL structure.
  • Identify and resolve technical SEO issues such as site speed, crawl errors, indexing issues, and mobile optimization.
  • Work closely with the Web Development Team to ensure technical SEO best practices are followed during website development and redesign projects.
  • Monitor and analyze SEO performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush.
  • Create and present regular SEO performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and algorithm changes, adjusting the SEO strategy as needed.
  • Implement local SEO strategies to improve visibility in specific geographic markets.
  • Optimize Google Business Profiles and other local listings for accuracy and consistency in NAP data.
  • Collaborate with Brand Leaders to align local SEO efforts with business needs and local marketing strategies.
  • Conduct regular SEO audits and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Track and analyze competitors' SEO strategies to ensure competitiveness in organic search.
  • Work closely with the Paid Media Team to ensure cohesive messaging between organic and paid search efforts.
  • Collaborate with the Content and Creative Teams to ensure all content is optimized for search engines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, IT, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in SEO, with a proven track record of improving organic search rankings and driving traffic.
  • Deep understanding of SEO best practices, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and technical SEO.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) and basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for troubleshooting SEO issues.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with both B2B and B2C brands, especially in home services or related industries.
  • Familiarity with local SEO strategies and tools such as BrightLocal or Yext.
  • Experience with multi-location SEO and managing Google Business Profiles for multiple locations.
  • Knowledge of SEO automation tools and AI-driven platforms.
