About the position

The SEO Specialist at Your Behavioral Health (YBH) is responsible for enhancing the company's organic marketing efforts through strategic planning, execution, and optimization of SEO initiatives. This role requires a tech-savvy individual with a strong background in SEO and digital marketing, aiming to improve search rankings, drive website traffic, and increase conversions in a mission-driven environment focused on behavioral health services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings, drive website traffic, and increase conversions.
• Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify opportunities for content development.
• Coordinate with a team of internal content writers to prompt, optimize, and post new content to the website.
• Conduct technical SEO audits and collaborate with the web development team to address issues and implement best practices.
• Optimize on-page elements including metadata, headers, images, interlinking, and content for SEO performance.
• Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Ahrefs.
• Collaborate with the outreach team to create a comprehensive backlink strategy.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and algorithm changes to adjust strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with other departments including the marketing team, clinical operations, business development, and IT.
• Stay up to date on digital marketing trends and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of proven experience in SEO, with a track record of improving organic search performance.
• Strong proficiency with SEO research, analytics, and reporting tools including Google Analytics, Search Console, Google Ads, Tag Manager, Ahrefs, and Surfer.
• Strong understanding of technical SEO, including site architecture, crawling, and indexing.
• Skilled in both on and off-page, local, and technical SEO techniques.
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of behavioral health and healthcare industries is a plus.
