About the position

The SEO Strategist role at SoFi is focused on enhancing the company's organic search presence across its financial products and services. This position involves executing SEO research, managing project workflows, implementing best practices, and analyzing organic growth to drive business success. The ideal candidate will leverage their SEO expertise to strategize and implement effective search capabilities, contributing significantly to SoFi's growth.

Responsibilities

• Expand SoFi's organic footprint into previously untapped search space for both high volume core business terms and broad match, long tail keywords.
• Manage publication of search optimized content, identify new content opportunities, and measure page performance.
• Monitor keyword rankings and implement quick turn solutions and optimizations where needed.
• Identify upcoming trends and coordinate a strategy for how to best position SoFi for the changing organic landscape.
• Produce quantitative reporting and qualitative explanations on weekly performance.
• Help manage external agencies, partners, and platforms.
• Implement both internal and external linking tactics to grow page authority.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant SEO experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Strong attention to detail
• Deep understanding of content production, optimization, and management
• Ability to manage project workflows across multiple teams
• Experience with SEO software (Moz, BrightEdge, Search Console, etc)
• Experience in web publication and CMS, especially within WordPress
• Experience with performance analysis and presentation
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
