About the position

The Remote Beauty Advisor position at Sephora involves providing exceptional customer support through phone and chat channels. The role focuses on assisting clients with inquiries related to products, services, and technical issues, while ensuring a high-quality customer experience. The position requires a strong commitment to client service and the ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment. Paid training begins on November 15, 2024, and the role is designed for individuals who are passionate about beauty and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to client requests/inquiries via phone and chat, including product purchases and service inquiries.
  • Demonstrate high standards for quality service.
  • Keep up to date with product knowledge and industry trends.
  • Work with the quality and training team to manage performance expectations.
  • Maintain open communication with Team Lead and management for support and development.
  • Document all client interactions accurately in the call center database.
  • Adhere to schedules and deadlines for both regular and special projects.
  • Exceed key performance indicators (KPI) and quality goals as outlined by management.
  • Communicate proactively and professionally with customers across multiple channels.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years' experience in a business/professional environment, preferably in the service industry.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to deliver high-level client service under high volume.
  • Strong computer literacy and internet savvy, with e-commerce experience preferred.
  • Experience with Windows-based applications and client relationship management tools preferred.
  • Excellent data entry skills with a typing speed of 45-55 wpm minimum.
  • Flexibility to work in a dynamic shift environment, including weekends and evenings.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Experience in live chat and beauty & cosmetics industries preferred.
