About the position
The Septic Tank Delivery Driver at Summers-Taylor, Inc. is responsible for the safe loading, transportation, and unloading of septic tanks for customers. This role requires a strong customer service orientation, a commitment to quality and on-time delivery, and the ability to operate equipment effectively. The driver will also assist in setting and forming tanks at the concrete plant before delivery, ensuring a high standard of service and safety throughout the process.
Responsibilities
- Safely drive and operate the Septic Tank Truck.
- Hoist and set the tank as desired by the customer.
- Work as a laborer at the concrete plant to form and mold the tank.
- Maintain the customer delivery schedule and strive for on-time deliveries.
- Keep the truck clean and well maintained on an ongoing basis.
- Monitor quality per the customer's specifications.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety.
Requirements
- Have an excellent driving record and history.
- Comply with work references and criminal background check.
- Comply with I9 and E-Verify requirements.
- 5+ years of construction experience preferred.
- Demonstrate the ability to perform work tasks at the production/quality level set by the Company.
- Demonstrate the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
