Responsibilities
- Assess job sites for septic system setup and prepare the area for efficient installation.
- Install septic tanks, distribution boxes, and drain fields, following local codes and best practices.
- Coordinate effectively with other team members and equipment operators to ensure timely and accurate installations.
- Diagnose septic system issues and provide the best repair solutions.
- Replace or repair damaged components, ensuring system longevity and performance.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to optimize system function.
- Educate customers on septic system care, providing tips for long-term maintenance and performance.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and industry standards in all tasks.
- Stay current with local regulations to ensure compliance on every project.
- Document all work for comprehensive record-keeping and customer reference.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of experience in septic system installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Knowledge of local codes and regulations governing septic system installation.
- Skilled in the use of laser levels, industry-standard trenching and tank installation tools, and proficient with hand-digging techniques.
- Safety-conscious and proactive, consistently anticipating next steps to ensure smooth, efficient installations.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and detail-oriented work style.
- Effective communication skills to interact professionally with customers, team members, and suppliers.
- Valid driver's license.
