About the position

Robinson Innovations is hiring immediately for the part-time Serial Changer position at a major production plant in Lawton, Oklahoma. This role requires candidates to commit to working every Saturday for a 12-hour shift from 7 am to 7 pm. The starting pay for this position is $14.00 per hour, with a pay range of $14.00 to $17.50 per hour. This job is ideal for individuals seeking a part-time or second job opportunity. In this role, candidates will be responsible for changing the serial number plates from the curing presses, ensuring that the surface of the mold is not scratched during the process. This task involves using small hand tools and requires the ability to shut down and start different types of presses, as well as adhering to Lock Out/Tag Out procedures. The job also necessitates climbing stairs and working at various height levels, as the serial number plates must be changed from both the top and bottom of the press. Candidates should be prepared to stand and walk for 95% of the workday, which includes standing and walking on concrete for the entire 12-hour shift. Candidates must possess reliable daily transportation to the plant, as there are no tolerances for transportation excuses. The role demands individuals who are reliable, respectful, and capable of delivering results while meeting production demands. Following directions, maintaining a positive working attitude, and understanding safety practices are essential for success in this position. The work environment is not climate-controlled, and candidates will be exposed to elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, and oils. On-the-job training will be provided, and good attendance and punctuality are crucial to meet production needs. Additionally, candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds or more and perform repetitive tasks throughout their shift.

Responsibilities

• Change serial number plates from the curing presses using small hand tools.
• Shut down and start different types of presses following Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
• Climb stairs and work at different height levels to change serial number plates from both the top and bottom of the press.
• Stand and walk for 95% of the workday, primarily on concrete surfaces.
• Follow all safety practices and directions provided by supervisors.
• Maintain good attendance and punctuality to meet production needs.

Requirements

• Ability to perform physical work in a plant environment (not climate-controlled).
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach above the head for extended periods.
• Ability to work both in a team and independently.
• Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times, including steel-toe shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more and perform repetitive work.
• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move about the facility.
• Good attendance and punctuality are required to meet production workflow.
• Ability to follow OSHA rules and regulations.
• Must pass a Federal Background Check and Drug Test.
