About the position
Sushi Garden is a busy, well-established, family-owned Japanese restaurant with locations in Capitola, Watsonville, and Aptos. We are looking for outgoing and hardworking individuals to join our team as a Server or Host/Hostess at the Aptos location. This position is part-time and offers a pay rate of $16 per hour. The ideal candidates will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities will include full tableside service, taking take-out call orders, preparing and packaging food, handling payment transactions, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Candidates must be personable, friendly, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Experience in a restaurant front of house role is required, and proficiency in using computers to handle the POS system is essential. Additionally, candidates must currently have or be willing to obtain a Food Safety Certificate. Responsibilities

Requirements
- 1 year of serving experience required.
- 1 year of restaurant experience required.
- Valid Food Handler Certification is required.
