About the position
The Server/Bartender position is a part-time role responsible for ensuring a smooth dining experience for members and guests. This includes preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and providing excellent customer service in a friendly and professional manner.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Adhere to all food safety and handling procedures
- Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible serving practices
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to coordinate food orders with drink orders
- Assist in opening and closing duties, including restocking supplies and cleaning equipment
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of different types of alcoholic beverages and their preparation methods
- Observe the highest standards with regard to appearance, personal grooming, hygiene, cleanliness of uniform and shoes.
