Server/Busboy

About the position

We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Servers and Busboys to join our team at an AYCE Korean BBQ restaurant in Torrance, CA. The ideal candidates will thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment, possess a friendly demeanor, and be able to multi-task effectively to ensure maximum efficiency in service.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests at tables.
• Take orders from guests.
• Deliver food to guests' tables.
• Prepare drinks for guests.
• Recommend menus to guests.
• Aid customers with ordering and menu selection.
• Clean tables and remove any used items.
• Aid in the coordination of events.
• Clear and clean tables promptly after guests leave to prepare for the next seating.
• Assist servers by delivering food and beverages as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping and mopping floors.
• Help set up and break down dining areas for special events or catering services.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service.
• Restock supplies such as napkins, utensils, and condiments as necessary.
• Follow all health and safety regulations while performing duties.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or the restaurant industry is preferred but not required.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
