About the position
The Server position at Cascades Restaurant in Amicalola Falls Lodge involves providing excellent customer service to guests while ensuring a clean and organized dining environment. The role requires knowledge of the menu and the ability to operate point of sale equipment, all under the supervision of the F&B Manager/Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Greet and serve guests in a professional manner.
- Check assigned stations for cleanliness before opening.
- Perform necessary opening and closing side-work as per schedule.
- Maintain awareness of daily specials, soups, and drinks.
- Answer questions about the menu accurately and concisely.
- Operate point of sale (POS) equipment effectively.
- Follow accounting procedures for handling transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned areas.
- Collaborate with the kitchen to ensure food presentation and quality.
- Work closely with the bartender to ensure beverage quality.
Requirements
- Friendly and outgoing personality.
- Ability to work under direct supervision.
- Knowledge of menu items, including garnishes and preparation methods.
- Experience with point of sale (POS) systems.
