About the position

The Dining Service Partner plays a crucial role in providing a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for residents. This position involves taking orders, serving meals, and maintaining hygiene and safety standards in the dining area.

Responsibilities

• Take beverage and meal orders from residents.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and serve meals according to standards.
• Address any issues or concerns raised by residents.
• Maintain all safety and sanitation rules and regulations.
• Clean floors, empty trash cans, and stock food supplies.
• Wash and sanitize dishes and clean all other parts of the work area and equipment as needed.
• Perform general cleaning of the dietary department, including vents and ovens.
• Organize stock and make deliveries as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a great attitude.
• Prior experience in washing dishes and general cleaning of industrial/restaurant kitchens.
• Obtain/hold any local, state and/or county required food handling/sanitation licenses and/or certificates.
• Must possess a valid First Aid Certification and be available for on-call emergency situations and weekend coverage on a rotating basis.
• Ability to understand and follow directions.
• Ability to understand and meet standards for health, safety, and excellence.
