About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Server for our upscale fine dining establishment located in Coconut Grove, Miami. The role involves delivering an exquisite culinary experience paired with impeccable service, contributing to creating unforgettable moments for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greets customers and introduces them to the food and drink menu.
• Memorizes food and beverage menus and offers recommendations to dining room customers.
• Addresses menu questions and provides drink recommendations.
• Takes food and beverage orders, enters them into the system promptly, and courses food items appropriately.
• Provides attentive service by checking in during meals.
• Promptly resolves customer service issues, referring customers to management when necessary.
• Maintains table appearance and performs side work and end-of-shift closeout tasks.

Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years of previous hospitality experience with a proven track record of professionalism, accountability, and team commitment.
• Ability to stand for 9 hours and lift 40 pounds.
• Capability to perform all job functions while wearing the specified uniform, including proper footwear.
• Proficient in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Working knowledge of POS systems.
• Accurate, efficient, and proper cash handling skills.
• Must maintain current state alcohol certification.
